BREWING CONTEST: STOUT

Attention all home-brewers! Enter your home-brewed Stout in this year’s brewing contest, using the Beer Judging Certification Program (BJCP) guidelines for category #13 beers. Check out the all the style details here http://www.bjcp.org/2008styles/style13.php. The contest is free to enter, just amateurs only please. Properly-labeled entries will be accepted up until 4 p.m. at Bacchus & Barleycorn, Saturday, August 17.

Back by popular demand, there will again be two contests—one for novices only on Saturday, and one for masters on Sunday! If you teach knitting or crocheting, have won a prize in this contest, or judged this contest in the past, you’re eligible for the master’s category. Maximum two entries per person, per day. The contests are free to enter and is open to all ages.
