REMEMBERING SHAUN BRADY
With A Cookbook of His Favorite Recipes for ‘Irish Comfort Food’
One year ago, on August 28, the Irish American community
tragically lost one of its favorite sons – the creative, gregarious
Irish-born chef, Shaun Paul Brady.
As a way of bringing back good memories of the mischievous,
soft-hearted Shaun, his friends have stirred his life story into a
cookbook featuring many of his favorite recipes. We’ve even
included an interview with, and a recipe from Shaun’s talented
14-year-old son, Seamus.
The SHAUN AND SEAMUS BRADY COOKBOOK will be available
for the first time at the Kansas City Irish Fest, Aug. 29-31 at
Crown Center. Cost is $30, plus tax. ALL proceeds will go to
benefit Shaun’s wife and children.
The books will be available for sale all weekend in the Irish Fest
at a booth right outside the Culture Stage, and at the popular BRADY BRUNCH, featuringShaun’s scones and full-on Irish breakfast, after the annual Irish Fest on Sunday.
